The Measure of Success

There are many different ways of measuring success.

Success means different things to different people.

For many, it seems to be the amount of money they can amass and the amount of material items they can collect.

I have a different view of success.

I measure success by that person’s commitment themselves and the people around them.

Wealth to me is how much happiness you can amass each and every day – in your heart and how much you pour back into the hearts of others.

It is the ability to make every today a special day.

It is the commitment you can give to your own health and fitness – because you can only give effectively when standing on a strong foundation.

It is the commitment to making continued progress at the gym, despite not finding time, yet still making time.

It is the sunshine you can bring into your life and into the lives of those around you.

Develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success.

Celebrate YOUR Journey

We all know it’s not easy to lead a healthy, stress-free lifestyle in today’s day and age.

Not with the world seemingly hell bent against us.

In fact, in recent times, obesity and its associated problems are at an all-time high.

It really takes good planning, dedication and the definite will to change to do the right thing today.

For different people, this comes in different individual measures of achievement.

Thus, for some success could mean competing in a bodybuilding show.

For others it is running a marathon.

For others still, it could simply mean losing the first 5 kg ever after a lifetime of being out of shape.

Whatever the measure of success, here are some of the stories that celebrate the journeys of some truly dedicated individuals, I have had the pleasure and honor to coach.

These are people that make our journey together worth every step of the way.
